I received three letters in the mail today from a Conrad Credit Corporation. Each letter has a different account number, and three different amounts: $425.86, $465.79, and another for $425.86. At the top of the letter, it states that my account has been referred to this agency by JOSH WILSON. (No company name, phone number or account, just the name Josh Wilson.)

When I called the phone number of 760-735-5005, a woman told me that the three accounts were each for Huskhawk Group for a loan in the amount of $200, Summit Group for a loan in the amount of $200 and Timberhole for a loan in the amount of $200.

These loans total $600... the letters from the collection agencies total $1317.51, so more than TWICE the original loan amount.

Does anyone know anything about this company and how I can go about paying the original loan amounts? I am not paying all of these fees. This is outrageous.

Also, I tried looking up the phone numbers from each of the three original creditors an got disconnected phone lines each time.

First you need to find out if those loan companies are legal in your state. If they are not legal, then you are only obligated to pay back the original amount. You should immediately send a DV letter for those three accounts. Make this collection agency prove they are the correct ones to collect and to justify the additional fees and whatnot.
