Help! I can't Finish Paying on a Settlement Offer for Citibank/Northland Group

Hi Everyone:
You have helped me in the past. Now I am back with a question. I am working toward a settlement with a collection agency for Citibank. I am getting down to my last payment but things have been so tight financially I don't think I can afford the last payment.
I don't know how I should approach the collection agency.They said they can't strecth out my payments beyond the 5 months. My original terms were $4,186 over 5 months and the account is settled in full. I have left a sum of $1820 for this month, my final month. I had been paying what I could over the past 4 months. So, I am really scared. I want to pay them off but my budget is so so tight. I don't know what to do. The collection agency is Northland Group.

Only thing you can do is call and talk to them. Maybe they will extend it out one more month...it is worth a shot.
