Wakefield and Associates...
Date: Wed, 04/28/2010 - 08:31
Got a call yesterday, from Wakefield and Associates.
Interesting, in that the lady that called, was speaking to my cell phone voice mail. Almost as if she thought it was an actual person.
Said this call is for XXXX. If this is not XXXX, please hang up now.
A short pause. Then, proceeded to explain that she was from Wakefield and Associates, that they were a collection agency trying to collect on a debt.
Call back by a certain time, ext XXX.
Have gotten several calls, in the past, from this company.
But, they've never bothered to leave a message.
I've never dealt with them, and definitely have no plans to deal with them.
I'll probably keep doing what I've done, since they started calling:
Report them to local/national No Call Lists.
Not what, if anything, I can do.
Comments welcome.
Thanks.
