Chrysler Financial HARRASMENT

I have a question. I have had an account with Chrysler Financial for a car that I have purchased from them since 2006. These guys will call up to 5 times a day if you are a few days late on paying them. When I actually pick up the phone and tell them that I can't pay right now, etc., they say the calls will continue until I make payment arrangements since the calls are electronically generated. Is this a form of harrasment that I can do something about? Isn't this obsessive according to the law?

First party are not covered under the FDCPA. You are late so it is hardly harassment, especially on a secured account.
In terms of your case, I think your creditor,Chrysler Financial
In terms of your case, I think your creditor,Chrysler Financial is not covered by the rules of FDCPA. Because according to FDCPA rule no creditor can call you again and again!!!!It's considered as harassment. Due to any financial hardship if you are late, it's understandable, but they shouldn't react in this way...
If you simply call them and make a promise to pay, and stick to
If you simply call them and make a promise to pay, and stick to it. The calls will stop, unless you don't pay according to your word.
