received letter from Eaton Group lawyers

Received letter from Eaton Group Attorneys saying that they have received a GE Capital account through LVNV Funding LLC in their office for collection. I states that I have 30 days after receiving this notice to respond. What does this mean. I am already paying back a charged off loan and 2 credit cards every month to get rid of the debt. I have no extra money to pay anymore off until I'm done with the others. Can they garnish my wages.

that means you have 30 days to get a DV letter to this collector.send the letter certified mail retirn receipt.do not trust LVNV or anybody collecting for them.get the letter out asap.

yeah, LVNV is a KNOWN violator. They will walk all over peoples rights and feel completely justified in doing so. Don't give them an inch because they will take a mile.
