Has any one heard of( Prolific Acquisitions) They wanted me to give them debit number or Acct # to pay off a payday loan from my wife I thought they have to send you a dunning letter??

P.S. I did not give them anything

Once they establish communication with you, by law they must send you a dunning letter by 5 days. Asking for payment is totally overshadowing your right to dispute the debt. If they call back, verify your mailing address and inform them that you know your rights and will expect the letter within 5 days. Refuse to speak with them further, simply state "I am waiting for your letter".
