I already talked to the DA's office and the sheriff's dept and AG of Oregon. All of them say to file a complaint with the FTC. All I have is a phone number 972-332-2915 which originates from Allen, Texas. They say they represent Quick Cash.Net but refuse to give me the name of the payday loaner company that they allege I borrowed from or any detail of this "loan" Very scary people, harassing. They also call me at work, which I told them to stop. Told me if I did not settle out of court then a sheriff would come serve papers and take me to the courthouse. If at the courthouse I cannot pay $5000 fee, then me and my 2 references (they gave names) will spend the next 6 months in jail. Man , Adam Jackson, has an Indian accent and could hardly speak English. Yes. I have this recorder. I am not going to let them bully me If I owe money fine but no threats

I did a google for them and it seems they pass a fake addy out. The best way I have found to deal with these types of people is to just tell them, "sure...see ya in court." It call their bluff and they have no answer for that.....or a funny one my friend did was, "Oh goody, I had fun in prison and miss my (female dog)." The guy just stuttered...I was laughing my behind off sitting right next to my friend. Honestly, any company that says you will go to jail you don't have to worry about...they will not even sue you legally....they would be slapped with so many countersuits and would have to explain themselves in court.
However if they are disturbing your work environment go see your boss and explain that some strange company has gotten a hold of your information and is using the work phone to harass you for some loan you never had. Your boss will at least appreciate that you bright it to their attention and I doubt they will fire you for it. It would be like firing you for a crank caller.
