If you are contacted by this company, prepare to sue them if:
You didn't receive a 1st "dunning" letter.
You checked to see if they are licensed to collect in your state and they are not.
They tell you they are preparing to do *whatever* because you wrote a bad check for a payday loan.
Their clients are preparing to take you to court because of inaction on a delinquent account.
And any other variation of B.S. they may seem fit to dish up.
And don't worry about the cost of an attorney. Many will represent you for FREE because they know companies like this are just money in the bank. They will settle out of court rather than having to actually GO to court in a state that they are not based out of. Although if you were wanting to make an example out of them, do not accept the out of court settlement.

Uh, don't you mean debtors? They aren't customers anymore if they are in collections. Not saying they weren't customers before, but they're debtors now. Not just debtors, but delinquent debtors seeing as how they have unpaid bills. Regardless of what shitty tactics people use, they still owe debts. Is there any thread on this site that actually gets people to pay their bills, instead of filing bankruptcy or suing CAs? I mean I can understand a consolidation if you're not making a lot of money, but why is it almost every thread I see on this site has nothing to do with resolving a debt through payments. And let's face it, the majority of debt that originated in the past 20 years came from people living beyond their means. That's why so many people are in foreclosure, nobody reads the fine print. And yes I am a collector, no I don't work for this company, yes I do have debt, but no I am not behind on it. And yes payday loans are a scam, so is the rent to own market. But who's really at fault here? The people who go out and take the money and property and don't read the fine print? Or the guy who's just trying to keep working by collecting on debt? It's a good thing the English don't own this country anymore, or the majority of you would be in jail.
