Beware of this number...914 371 6826

Has anyone ever been bothered at work or home from a company called Affiliated Consolidaton Services? I have... they called and stated that I had an outstanding account for a loan in 2008 and this company has hired them to get the money back from me...I called the company and they stated that NO THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF AFFILIATED CONSOLTATION SERVICES!! & that they did not hire them to collect any money at all.
the number for ACS is: 914-371-6826? So, I called the phone company and did a reverse switch search...this number is a cell number and is not registared...humm sound fishy? This person stated that I was going to jail and going to rot and lose my job and my family, I was going to lose everything, when I questioned him on what address or state he was located in so I could send payment he refused to give me that information, he called me an idiot when I asked more questions so he hung up on me when I asked if he called me an idiot,then a less than a minute later he called me back again...I still did not give him any information. I called the BBB & the Federal Trade Commission & the State Consumer Protection agencies, so they are aware of this scam. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE...

Its common of the collection agencies to threat debtors to get the money from them but you have done the right thing by not giving out your information to them.
