Cancellation of Services

I signed up for Preferred Financial Systems and within several days, they deducted funds from my checking account for my first payment. After that, I received a welcome packet that said that I needed to change my contact number and also mailing address with all of my creditors to the numbers and address specified by PFS (in MA). It also instructed me not to discuss my association with PFS with my creditors and to politely hang-up on them when they call. This made me nervous, so I used their Cancellation Form to cancel my assocation with them, which states that I may do so within 30 days without obligation. I have tried to call and email my contact person for several days and still no response in regards to getting my initial payment returned. What can I do to get these funds back?
If you're willing to spend more money you can sue them. Dependi
If you're willing to spend more money you can sue them. Depending on the cost analysis this many not be the best idea though.
I recommend trying to get in touch with the customer service manager first.
