I live in South Carolina. However received summons at place of employment in Richmond County, GA. Case was filed in Magistrate Court of Richmond County, GA. LVNV did not attach any documents to their purported complaint. The summons, the complaint, Exhibit "A" signed by a "Nicki Foster" a Plantiff's affadavit it says. And the pink slip from the deputy which has preprinted in fine print in the bottom right corner " The law firm of Emmett L. Goodman, Jr. for plantiff/creditor/movant is acting as a debt collector attempting to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Likewise, my CRs now show as an open debt with LVNV, term 1 month, installment.
What is the best plan of action? How should the summons be answered, as i reside in another state?
