Booker Law Group and Titan Group?

I received a call saying my social security number was under investigation for fraud, as did my brother regarding me. When I called them, they said the debt was for a payday loan for the BMG/Titan Group which was "charged off" in July of 2008, and they claim I owe $1,450.63. I KNOW I've never had a payday loan for that amount and they refuse to tell me what the original loan and terms were and the date it was taken out. NOW I'm getting calls from a Booker Law Group claiming that unless I respond and pay in 72 hours I'll have a lawsuit filed against me for check fraud, since I have changed banks. Are these people legal? How can I get them to stop calling me? Please help!

there is nothing legal about anything either place did,or is doing.this is a scam collector trying to extort money for an old ipdl.btw BMG/TITAN group isn't even in this country so they can't do spit.the fraud threat is one of the oldest used by bottomfeeders.you,and your brother file police reports for the harrassment.then you fil FTC,and AG complaints against BMG/TITAN,and booker law as i suspect this booker law isn't a law firm,but a bottomfeeder playing lawyer.file the report,and complaints.then ignore their sorry a$$e$.
