How long do i have to pay?

Hi,
I rented a property and the landlord agreed to reduce the rent. At the end of the lease, I moved out and the landloard is now suing me for the balance. I have to go to court now. If I loose the case, do i have to pay the balance on the spot?

If you lose, the landlord gets a judgment stating how much you owe. I'm not sure what your state laws say, but in Texas whoever gets the judgment has to pursue collection actions on the judgment, the judge does not make you to pay on the spot.
