First Nat. Collection Bureau Question
Date: Fri, 08/13/2010 - 11:01
This collection agency is trying to collect for a credit card I had back in 1997 or 98, but when I called them to discuss the FACT that this bill (the ORIGINAL bill) is WELL PAST the statute of limitations, they insist it's from 2005, regardless of what I say. I tell them it's from a credit card (a nasty fraudulent secured one) I had when my oldest child was maybe 1 year old (she is now 13) he insisted it MUST be a different credit card, but I've not had a single credit card since 1998! (using only debit cards) What do I do now???
