Income tax question

I was financed through Carmel Financial out of Carmel Indiana for a hague quality water system I believe it is an unsecured debt. Can they take my income tax refund if I quit paying them because I did not mention that the system is a joke and hasn't worked for about a year and I have been paying on it for several months even though it does not work and I am to the point I can not pay on it anymore. Please Please help..
No one can take your income tax money except the federal or stat
No one can take your income tax money except the federal or state government. And they only do that for back taxes, student loans or unpaid child support.Have you contacted your finance company, the seller or the company that made the system to tell them it's defective?
