Sued after 8 years rrom first judgement

I was sued in the spring of 2002 and a judgement was entered in Aug 2002. The attorneys tried to collect in the fall of 2010. However, in Ga. the expiration date of the judgment is 7 years. Now I think that the same company is sueing me again. Can they do this ?

If they obtained a judgment against you, judgments are renewable in the state of GA after 7 years. Are you being sued again or are you being taken to court to renew the judgment?
