How did they do this?

I was in my local cigar shop today and havent been there for months. Funny enough the phone rang and it was for me. Now keep in mind I am just a customer and this is my first time there in months. It was a creditor for $700. How did they know that I was there how did they get that number? Is someone following me? And when I asked the owner he said he has never gotten any calls for me. Maybe they tapped my phone? I dont know but really has me baffled.:confused:

Wow this is a first for me.....would make me feel stalked. But you should be HIGHLY suspicious. Did you ask them who they were, what the account was? I would send them a very strongly worded debt validation letter.
