looking for someone to give me direction...need an attorney to help sue financial consolidation company...they took their pay...paid nothing to 3 of 3 creditors I consolidated with them..was served a "civil summons" by the sheriff..was called a week later by the 2nd of three creditors I consolidated with this same company, only to learn that the 3rd of three already had sent their dispute over to an attorney...
This financial institution took $217.96 from me to START their program and $154.96 a month since January 2010....no money has been paid to any of the three accounts...I've now been charged finance charges x 3 accounts for the past year, I've been charged attorney fees for all three accounts...and my health which is what got me in this situation to begin with has worsened from the stress alone!!! My 20 year old son paid one of the three accounts in full, because it was considered a secured debt.

What state are you in? You should be able to find a consumer at
What state are you in? You should be able to find a consumer attorney who will take your case on a contingent basis. I have one who's handling my case against a collection agency who violated collection laws. Didn't cost me a dime.
I would go with an attorney who handles ONLY consumer debt/law, not a jack-of-all-trades.
