Today I received a call from 1-888-286-8410 and said that basically I have been served. Can you serve someone over the phone. They said that I would either be served at work or at my home. I tried to call this number but noone answered will try again in the morning. Any info on this is helpful thank you

I called the number and they answered as United Legal......the fact that they tried to 'serve' you over the phone is a total bunch of cow poop. I am betting they haven't even sued you....sounds like one of these firms who routinely break the law. You should check your county court just to make sure there are no cases or judgments against you.

UNITED---I GOT THE SAME CALL

AND THE VERY NEXT DAY....They called my husband who is not on this debt and blurted out all this stuff about taking me to court if I don't pay 825.00 but didn't say who they were. Just that they were going to take me to court over an unpaid debt to VIP Loanshop that I did pay the principal on.,
