Hi. I am hoping that someone can help me out. In the last couple of months I have been getting a call from Nicholas Jackson with TJF Corporations. He has a very thick accent and really hard to understand.

I have told him several times not to call me at work; however, he keeps calling me at work. I verified my home number but hen I refused to give him my cell phone number he got very angry. Yesterday he called me 7 times at work within a 10 minute span. He gave me his call back number of 904-201-3839. When you call that number they just answer hello.

Today he called me at home. I told him that I don't know what this is for and he needed to send me something in writting. He refused and said that he didn't have to. He also said that I was in legal trouble and would be arrested. This guy is a real jerk! Again, I asked for his mailing address and he refused to give it saying that I didn't need it.

I asked him what this debt was for and he said that I took out a loan on 06/06/05 from payday2go.com. I asked him for the balance and he didn't know the balance but I could pay the principal of $752. I asked him details about this loan; however, he didn't have any. He said that I could pay this by debit or credit card. I told him there was no way in **** I was giving him that information.

I want these calls to stop! Since he will not give me their mailing address I can't stop them a letter. If this is a true balance that I will pay it but not to these jerks.

Should I call payday2go.com and try to see if they will give me the details? How can I find out if they are licensed in my state?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

how long ago was this loan?this sounds like US NATIONAL BANK using another alias.after looking payday2go.com is not licensed in indiana.if you paid the principle back then you are done you owe them nothing.still this sounds like a scam.i wouldn't talk to this person again.have co-workers say you quit and don't answer when he calls you at home.that is the best way to stop this.he is in INDIA and will only call.nothing else because he can't do anything.

The same thing is happening to me....I have this Indian guy calling me at work saying that he is going to have the police come and arrest me....He leaves messages on my voice mail and on my V.P's voice mail....I went and saw an attorney, He said that there is really nothing you can do....Its a scam and this guys is not working out of an office in America....so basically we cant touch him...Just block your number or change it. Also notify your boss of the calls and file a report at your local police station.

I have the same thing happening to me. Some indian accent who calls homself Don Wilson called my phone several times and my job and friends I used for references twice saying i need to give him a call right away and gave all my personal info on the voice mail. When I called back he said he was an investigator with this same company and that there was a legal complaint against me for an unpaid payday loan from Feb 2008. I called the payday and the man I spoke to said they never heard of them. Mr Wilson then threatened me with a warrant and being arrested from home or my job if I didnt settle this matter. Can he actually do this or is this a scam like I suspected?

debts are civil matters, not criminal ones.he cannot have you arrested.chances are he is in INDIA.just hang up on him as he more than likely either bought your info,or stole it from a pdl database.either way you owe him nothing but a hangup.

The samething just happend to me. I received a call from a Cheryl Williams and she said the same thing you owe money from a pay day loan and if I don't pay I will be arrested. I told her to send me some information on the company and the paperwork. She said she couldn't because she was the investigator, not the company. After I wore her out with all the questions she hung up. Oh, and she if from India too!

Got calls at work from James Anderson and Sam Nelson (732) 686-7910 or (732) 686-7912claiming a lawsuit was filed against my name and social security number. He told me that I had taken out a loan and owed $500.00 to Cashadavanced.com. If they did not receive the $500.00 that I will be prosecuted. I was trying to find out more information about this so called loan and he starts yelling and over talking me as I speak. He then told me to go through Western Union and send the money to Tracey Taylor in District Heights,MD.

He would not provide an address or a phone number for Tracey Taylor and when I ggoled that name I found a lot of these complaints with different names and numbers. This guy had my full name, address, ss#, and my work place. It's always someone with a heavy indian accent though.

Thena few days later I got the same type of call from Sean Manning at (214) 317-4575 supposedly for Payday2Go. Scared me.

Sounds like a scam, I would tell you you won't do ANYthing until you receive a letter of collection via the mail as required by the FDCPA. File complaints with teh FTC, BBB and your attorney general's office, please.
