SO Irritated with TC&C!!

I am so annoyed right now! I had dealt with Trauner, Cohen and Thomas (lawfirm from hell) on an old loan I had. They said I owed 6K and I disputed that (because I didn't owe it).

I sent different letters to them asking them to explain how the balance was owed and they never did that. I also told them NOT to contact me any further unless by mail.

They contacted me 3 times after they SIGNED FOR the certified letter stating "DO NOT CALL ME anymore" and when I told him that he got frustrated with me and told me I would NOT hear from them again until they saw me in court. I believe he said something about they were going to sue me because I was "playing games with them." I told them "Fine! I'd see them in court!!"

They left me alone that (which was end of September). Well, I have not heard anything from them since then and have checked with my probate court to make sure I do not have a summons against me. I know they have NO case because it is all LIES! I'd love to go to court with the people so they can be PROVED WRONG in the COURT!!!!

Today I just got a call from a NEW person that has never called me before. She said that she had "Updated information" for me and that I should call her today.

WHAT THE HECK!? Are these people INSANE!!!??? I can not believe they continue to call me...well, actually I can.

I do not plan on calling her back. I'm just wondering if anybody has any advice on what I should do...should I send the C&D letter again?

I am SO annoyed with these people! I did try to sue them for violating the fdcpa (which they have now done 6 times - 4 voicemail calls & 2 TEXT messages!!!!!!)

Thanks for listening...I needed to vent. These people make my blood boil!

Ddi you send the a full cease comm letter or a DV request with a "limited C&D" (contact by mail only)? If you sent them a "limited C&D", they don't have to follow it. If you sent them a full cease comm then go to your local small claims court and get the forms needed to file suit(or download them from the web). Call and ask for their fax number and send over a copy of the suit. On the cover letter type "This is a copy of the lawsuit I intend to file agaisnt you in such and such court.....for violations of the fdcpa...." See how they respond

Nascar Devil, Thank you so much for the help. I sent them a DV letter that stated for them to not contact me by phone any further but did not send them a C&D letter. I will do so.

If you are trying to get them to validate the debt, i would send

If you are trying to get them to validate the debt, i would send a followup DV and add that all calls to your employer place your employment in jeopardy and at the bottom in big bold letters:

[center:08b2f2f09d]ALL CALLS TO MY HOME AND CELL ARE RECORDED[/center:08b2f2f09d]

This way, if they call after receiving your DV, they are giving permission to be recorded and you are not limiting their contact. You might also get some violations on tape wheich would give you leverage you otherwise might not have.
