I was told letter is No Good!

We received a letter in the mail from CPC saying if we pay $74.17 in 6 payments that we could pay this off. So we made made 2 payments the first month-we plan to get this out of our hair a.s.a.p.! Anyways the very next month I get a call AT WORK from CPC telling me I need to make this secure payments from Kristin Davis and she also offered a payoff of $366 which we can not do and we already are making payments so I didn't understand why they were calling me. Well the conversation went sour and then she transferred me to Dean Christian and he said since I don't understand what they wanted, the letter that we got is "NO LONGER" I was beside myself. I asked so we can't make payments anymore? He said again the letter is NO LONGER! So after got off the phone I reported them to the BBB. Then I called Wal-Mart and found out who owned the collection. Precision Recovery Analytics that owns the amount said try and call them back the next day with the letter and see if you can work it out with them and if not call them back and they will take the payments instead. I just got off the phone with CPC, I emailed the letter and now they are telling me sorry and I was right and please just continue to pay the amount shown on the letter. Very frustrating and they are bully???s is how I feel. I felt like they were trying to push us around even after making payments so be careful dealing with them! Keep all your paperwork!! and if they try pulling a power trip on you report them to the BBB! I think reporting them helped my situation.
