Got a call from guy on my home phone. He told my wife he needed me to sign papers but wouldn't say what company he worked for or what the papers were about. She didn't give him any information as he sounded very sketchy. Several days later same guy called left voicemail saying he was coming to my employment and would serve papers - if I needed info to call 855-398-3352 - with a File #. I called not knowing who or what these people were about - reached United Assets Solutions - spoke to one guy who told me file had already been sent to litigation and transferred me to Sebastian Fontaine - but Timothy Peters "senior legal advisor" picked up -- asked me for my birth date and 4-digits of Soc. Sec. so he could tell me what the case was about. I initially refused - but then he said well you'll find out when we serve the papers. So, I gave him my birthdate - he said, "wrong one - guy we're looking for is 48 years old." (not me) - I said I think you owe me an apology and he abruptly hung up. I called back and Peters was 'in a meeting' - but Francis P. Lowry "senior legal advisor" took the call. I told him I thought it was unprofessional to hang up on me when I'm not even who they are after. He said my initial reluctance to give my birthdate indicates I may be falsifying who I am and "good luck - we'll see what happens." He also would not give me any information about the supposed case. Finally, I hung up on him. These people are threatening, rude, arrogant, and utterly unrepentant in preying on innocent citizens.

You can send them a written request for a debt validation letter. If they don???t reply, then forward them a ???Cease and Desist??? letter. After that, if they are still trying to harass you, then file a lawsuit against them to the State Attorney General or, FTC. Don???t share any personal information with them. However, I feel that it???s a scam.
