Sub: #1 Urs and Gm card
Replied on Today, 02:18 PM
We have received calls from united recovery systems about a past due debt with our Gm card. We can still go online to our account and pay. I have caught it up current and scheduled payments online but the lady at Urs is demanding payment in full. We do not have payment in full and I am wondering what we can do. I have now been avoiding there calls because it just doesn't get me any ware. And the have even resorted to calling family members after we have spoke. I do not know what to do. Can anyone give me any advice. I don't want to be sued and I can't believe my ignorance let this happen.
Thanks,

GM card is an HSBC card which is now owned by cap 1. Call the 1800 number on the back of the card and immediately ask for an account manager... ask the person if your account is past due in any way shape or form. If he/she confirms it is not, tell the CA next time they call you that HSBC confirms that you are current and not in collections.

I have called the number on the back of the card and it gives me a different number to call. The number it gives me is for Urs. I have emailed them but they have not responded yet. Let me also say that this account is closed and has been for a couple of years. But in my carelessness my last posted payment until July was in January. However online it now shows nothing past due and 0 minimum due. The collection company has just been very rude and has even called family members after they had our numbers and had spoken to us. I just don't want to be sued but we do not have the full amount nor can we get it at this time. So I am sick about this whole thing. But I want to keep it current. Thanks for your information in advance

I am sorry I lost you. I just meant we had caught it up online at the credit card website. I know we owe it I am just having a hard time dealing with Urs. And I am wanting to see if we will get sued if we pay the card website and not Urs. And if we can get sued if it is now current. I have went online and registered, and I appreciate any help you can give me in advance.
Thank you
