Lots of calls from Unknown caller

I haven't been on here much lately but am starting to receive "unknown" calls again. They are calling about twice per hour. Today has been the worst. There have been 17 unknown calls today. I have not picked them up at all but my daughter picked one up when I was not here. She said when she said hello, it started ringing on the other end and thensomeone answered and it sounded like a call center. They asked for me and when I was not here, they asked how to get in touch with me. She, of course, did not give them any information. We have been ignoring these calls but she said she was on the other line so could not see the caller id and just clicked over to answer. Also, typically they call maybe three times per day, now it was 17 times today so they have stepped it up. I have not had any calls like this for months and now they have started again the past week.

I had problems with United Legal calling me before but they always left nasty messages. These people do not leave messages. They just hang up.

Has anyone else had the experience that when you answer, it starts ringing and goes to what sounds like a call center with lots of noise in the back?

Do I just keep ignoring them or should I find out what they want? When I was on this site before regarding United Legal, I was always advised just to ignore them.

I am very nervous over this. Please help!
