I have a $4,000 credit card account with U.S Bank. I am a substitute teacher and can no longer afford to pay the $77.00 minimum payments, i pay about $30.00 a month. Because of my situation I have been in constant contact with them and finally they told me today that the account is 120 days late and that they were forwarding my account to the pre-legal dept. What does this mean? Is it just a ploy by them?
Thank you very much and Merry Christmas to all
