I am i nthe middle of a divorce... My soon to be ex-wife has had a credit card in my name for 12 yrs. without my knowledge.suddenly, after the split-up, she sends me the balance due 2000.00... the creditor has called me and I told them I didn't even know about the card....they have turned this over to a collection agency ad they are constantly harrassing me and my family. all I am trying to do, is to get them to contact her regarding this issue,,, whicH is obviously FRAUD.....WHICH I HAVE TOLD THEM OVER AND OVER.....THEY DON'T EVEN TRY TO CONTACT HER.....WHAT SHOULD I DO, I DON'T FEEL I'M OBLIGATED ,BECAUSE SHE USED THIS ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE.

Demand a copy of card holder agreement with your signature. Once you get it, if it is not your signature, you will have to file a police report for fraud. You might wanna let your soon to be wife your intent....will probably scare the hell of her. She could be criminally charged.
