Haven't heard back from debt validation letter
Date: Mon, 11/24/2008 - 11:44
Well, i sent out a debt validation letter (thanks to you guys!) and i haven't hear back from them in over three weeks.
What does this mean?
They've sent me letters and court summons, but after i sent the request, i've heard nothing from them and only a single phone call. The guy was sayin, "i received your letter today, blah, blah, blah," and since then, they havent bothered me.
What gives?
And i also found a link to licensed collection agencies for the state of Tennessee and i did not see them on the list. I don't know if the list is updated enough but i'm just curious.

You received a summons? Check with the county clerk to see if it
You received a summons? Check with the county clerk to see if it is real, if it is, you must appear in court to prevent a judgement being granted against you for failure to appear.
