response to a Validation request

Something sounds wrong, is that because they are talking "verification" and I am requested "validation"
The SOL expired last week but I am trying to reslove this with some finality. Any ideas on how to respond to this?

That's the oldest case law response in the book, and it doesn't hold water (and they know it). That case dealt with a business (construction) loan in which the defendant tried to use the fdcpa. Their trying to use this is BS. Send them a letter back citing such case law as Fields vs Wilber Law Firm, or Rivera vs Bank One, in which, indeed they do have to come up with more for proper validation, not verification. Remind them that the SOL has run, and if there is any litigation you will use this as your first defense, and request the case be dismissed for no cause of action.

Actually you could use Chaundhry since if one reads the entire case brief you would see their debt was validated down to the last nickel. They lost on second validation because they were asking for info that would violate attorney client privilege.
