I just got off the phone with these people and decided to research the company to see if they were a valid law firm as they had told me. Unfortunately, I found this site that has me wondering just how bad I have messed up. They now have my prepaid credit card number, address, and everything.
This debt was from 2008, and I havent recieved ANYTHING by mail in regards to it. I don't know how to proceed from here. Can I still send a cease and desist to them?? I need help....

they are not a law firm at all.they are a scummy bottomfeeder.do
they are not a law firm at all.they are a scummy bottomfeeder.do a search in the bar top right if you haven't already.there should be an address to send a C&D letter.btw since you have a prepaid cc cancel it and get a new card.the if they call prior to receiving the C&D hang up on them.
