They left a message on my answering machine and said they are calling about a claim that was filed against me that they got in their office today and to call them back.

First off isn't that illegal with the message they left?

I did receive a letter from them a few months ago but I did nothing. I am execution proof, I have no assets and exempt income so a judgment against me is not enforceable. I can only think it is from my car that was repossessed or the judgment that I already have against me for another debt that was probably transferred to Vital from LVNV Funding and their attorney.

I know the SOL is not up yet on the car and I really seen no use in sending a debt validation letter seeing as I might start the bankruptcy process next month anyway.

Should I call them back or ignore it? This is the second time they have called and last time they said the same thing, about a claim filed against me, I never got anything served from the court so I don't know if it's a scare tactic or not.
