URGENT!!! Wells Fargo Final Demand Letter

I just got a letter from Wells Fargo saying:
Dear ______:
Due to the serious delinquency on your accoung, we are notifying you that your entire balance of $8,766 is due immediately. Contact us today at the number listed below and advise us on how you will be making payment on the balance.
If you fail to respond to this demand within 10 days of the date of this letter, the Bank may exercise all available rights and remedies under the terms of your contract and applicable law including, but not limited to, referring the account to an attorney for purposes of obtaining a money judgment. Under the terms of your contract, if the Bank receives a money judgement, you may be required to pay collection costs, attorney fees and court related to the collection of this debt.
Your account may have been previously outsourced to a third party for collection activity. If this was the case, please be aware that the Bank has recalled your account from that thrid party, and that the Bank is presently servicing your account. If you have any questions regarding your account, please direct them to the Bank.
Does it look they are about to sue me? I have tried to work things out with them, but they haven't had any offers that I could take and maintain. Nothing has been reasonable. I would love to pay them, but I just have nothing to do it with.

Pretty much this does look like the last straw letter so yes I would say they are about to file suit. You can still work out a payment plan with the atty once suit is filed but be warned that if 2 or so payments are missed the atty will then file for judgment.

I talked to these guys and they offered me a 50% settlement, but a settlement with American Express came in at the same time for 25% of the balance so the funds I was able to get went toward that. Not sure what to do now. I would still like to work something out with them. Will it likley go to a collection agency or will I get sued.
