I currently bank with Wachovia and just saw a news article saying that Wachoiva was sold to Citicorp. I have debts with Citicorp. Should I be concerned that Citicorp can take action against me now that they have my banking account information? I am paying on all the citicorp debts, but some of the agencies still make threats.

I don't know the answer to your question - but this morning it was announced that Wells Fargo is buying Wachovia and not Citigroup.

Wachovia just announced they worked out a deal with Wells Fargo and dropped the CitiCorp deal. Therefore, no need to worry.
