Do Collection Agencies

Really work with you in writing or is always verbal and if so how do you protect your self from paying off one agency then they sell it to another .. From what I read most collection agencies are not following the rules to begin with .. Has anyone ever gotten a written contract with a collection agency in what your agreement to pay them off is etc ?

sure i have.a lot of ethical CA'S will always work that way.a bottomfeeder CA or a JDB will not.that is the first red flag when dealing with collectors.get everything in writing.
