I've been wrongfully billed for Medicare costs . what to do now

There are a couple of things you can do. You can call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) or assistance. Medicare will first verify if you're in the Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Program (QMB) and ask the provider to stop billing you henceforth. They will also ask the provider to give you a refund if you have made any payments.
