I think if it were me, that's the first thing I would do, perhaps you can speak with them and find out if you can resume payments with them (or work out some type of payment plan you can afford). As far as a cease and desist letter to the pretend attorney, I'm pretty sure you can send them one, and tell them they can only communicate with you by USPS. If I'm wrong here, someone please correct me.

Does anyone know for sure whether or not Zwicker is a REAL attorney, or is it a call center (collector). I think its important to be sure of who I'm talking to or sending cease letters to.
