I was counter suing mann bracken in superior court when they went bankrupt. The attorney handling the case went to Zwiggler and Associates and then just filed a substitution of party. They are supposedly suing on behalf of the bank who issued the card, but my credit report shows it was charged off as bad debt. Please help?

Charge off basically means it was charged off in the banks books
Charge off basically means it was charged off in the banks books as a receivable...it is an accounting term. It doesnt mean the debt has gone away....the debt is still very valid.
You said you were counter suing....need details. Or were you counter suing Mann Bracken?
