i can undrstd yr grievences abt the calls. nxt time u get a call u say any of foll. u worked in the company fr less then 3 months. or say u dont get paid by direct deposit or u say that u r self employed. they will say they cant gv u the loan and will burn the cal (rem. u frm system)

but let me tell u the person calling u is also helpless. its the sys. when u say that dont call job they click that option and u will notice that fr some time u wont but after that the system again starts dialing its an automated system.

but the person calling is als sitting there and earning his bread> yr problem is with the company not with the person who called u. the place frm where he is calling u is has a very hard life and its a struggle to survive there. so nxt time pls dont curse them. the people calling u r financially helpless

Automation is not a excuse. When a creditor is requested not to contact a person at their place of employement, they must ensure that number is removed fromthe system. Maybe, instead of "clicking and option" the representative should DELTE the number fromthe system, so it CAN'T be called again. The law does not make allowances for automation, it is still a FEDERAL VIOLATION if the calls continue after the debter has requested the calls stop (whether at work of in a Cease and desist letter.

You do however, have a valid point. Most these people are just trying to get by like we are. However they have a choice in how they interact with the customers (yes, even though in debt the peole they are calling are still CUSTOMERS). The collectors who choose to get biligerent, indifferent, harassing and threatening are just making it that much harder on everyone else they work with. And truthfully, if they dont like that environment, then maybe they need to consider getting out of collections all togheter,a s they are probably not suited for that line of work.
