Company/Individual reported: I.C.S. INTERNATIONAL CASH SERVICES

I have read every message concerning ICS. Let's face it, we are all vulnurable when we are desperate. That is what they count on and prey on. I will never do it again. I applied for a loan from ICS and was given $200. There was no writen or emailed contract. The person I spoke to was asking questions and speaking so fast I couldn't understand him. He just said say your name and the date and like a fool I did. I only knew about the $89 interest charge and that was all. I have not received any paperwork concerning this loan.

First, they debited my account on incorrect dates and I was hit with overdrafts that totaled $80.00. When I was finally able to talk to them, which was one giant problem in itself, they verbally told me they would reimburse me for the fees. But instead, they debited my account for an additonal $154. I filed an affadavit with my bank and it was charged back to ICS. I faxed them a letter with a complete breakdown of what I borrowed and what I had paid less the fees my bank charged plus an illegal origination fee of $35 dollars. I am from CT, and it is illegal to charge any upfront fees on a unsecured loan, which this was. I had my bank put a on-going stop pymt on ICS, so I wouldn't have to close my account. Now they are threatening to garnish my wages. They need to file a complaint through the small claims court or contact a collection agency. I owe ZERO dollars to them and am going to contact the FTC and have filed a complaint with the CT Attorney General's office. I will fight back, as you all should. The bottom line is I was stupid to get involved in this situation, and I am far from being a studpid person. Now I just boiling over after reading all the posted messages. I will do my best to turn the tables on ICS and maybe with legal advice, a class action lawsuit can be filed against them. It only takes one person to start the ball rolling and in this case it just might be me! Thanks for listening or reading this posting. Good luck to all of you!

$89 interest...looks like the increased their "fees"...when I had a loan with them the fee was $79....they must be getting desperate...I still get emails from them to get me to loan with them again...I sent them a reply and wrote in red letters with the biggest font I could use..."LEAVE ME ALONE" lol

I remember all too well those awful ICS fees...They were on the ones who turned the tables for me, when I got the ICS loan is when things went out of my control.. I really didn't have any problems working with them, though..But maybe that's because I paid $178 a month for 6 months on a $200 loan. That's $1068. They got their money back!!!
They can't garnish you, though..They are super duper illegal and don't have a snowball's chance of getting a judgement.
