How much amount of money can be saved in the consolidation program? Creditor's rate of interest is too high and it is becoming tough to catch up the bills. Can this program offer some relief?

When you are working with a good debt consolidation company, they will be able to lower your monthly payments by 40% to 60% on all your unsecured bills. Some companies are also able to lower the rates of interest with the creditors. I have shaped my program in this way so that I give more towards the principal amount and not pay towards the interest only.

Hope that you are also able to work out a similar plan.

We didn't save alot of money monthly with our consolidation, but we did save thousands over the long term. Because of some unexpected medical difficulties (and the bills that go with), we fell behind and our interest rates jumped to 25 - 29%. With consolidation, those were lowered. Some as low as 5%, others up to 15%, but still significantly lower! We will be debt free in just over 2 1/2 years now. Less, if we are able to use our income tax returns and bonuses and so forth!

I am so thankful for this website and being able to consolidate our bills!
