I have five or so payday loans and would like to consolidate them and try to pay them off in 5-6 months instead of paying them fees to roll them over. I have heard that there are some debt consolidation companies who will handle the payday loans. Can you provide me with contact info?

I see people talking about Town & Country for debt consolidation but I don't see a website listed for them when I search the name.
Does anyone have that?
thanks

Town and Country has a toll free number. Call their customer care and you will get the required information.

This forum does not allow publishing the phone number of the company. It is against the rules of this forum.

Sign up free of cost in this website and I will send you the phone number through private message.

I have put my credit card debts with the consolidation company referred by this site. The consultant has been very nice in my case and has negotiated with my creditors to a great extent. My total amount of debt got reduced that waived off the financial charges, late fees. I accepted the plan that suits my present financial situation and will be debt free within a few months.

I suggest you to take the counseling from the consultants here. They are nice and professional. Your agreement will be in writing so that you have all your papers saved in a file.

payday loan consolidation is quite tough nowadays and there are only a few companies that can do it. This company does not do payday loan consolidation.

On such situation when you are facing difficulties in getting professional help, it is better to take active steps that will improve your credit file. You should also be aware that the loan interest will keep multiplying each month even if you are only making the minimum payments. The debts need to be taken care immediately before it goes out of control.

Talk to your lenders and negotiate for a payment arrangement. It will be helpful if you can advance them some money along with your proposal. Most of the lenders accept the proposal seeing the willingness to pay the debt. Besides, they are interested in getting their money back. They will be able to offer some benefits if you talk to them before they call you later. Some of us here have done the needful and have got reduction in the interest rates. I expect the same results for you too. Do let us know after you have placed the call.

I am new (hi everybody) and am looking for information also for Town and Country. I currently have my credit cards consolidated with Debtscape (we won't go there with what I have to say about that). However, I am down to one credit card left. Yet, I have managed to get myself in trouble with some Payday Loans just to survive and it's getting out of control.

Hi Skrying, I have sent you the information in your pm. Please don't depend on payday loans for solving your financial problems. Instead, it worsens your financial management adversely. The payday loans are the easiest cash available but don't forget they are the most expensive ones.

If you really need some financial help, borrow money from your near and dear ones. Take a second job or look for some local lenders in your area who advance money. It is much easier to deal with them in comparison to the online payday loan companies.

Skrying,

Welcome to the forums.

It is not necessary that a company doing good sales will offer good services too. It should be thought more seriously when we are seeing the advertisements of the payday loans. Basically, we should never get tempted by the outer face of the company when they are selling these loans. Once you are in its vicious circle, you might have been trapped.

Do keep in touch with the community here. We are all sharing our knowledge about the debt related world and make ourselves financially balanced.

Regards
Roxette

Hi nurse_iv_bp

It's true; some time people take payday loan to pay off their existing debt or to cover some urgent needs. Try to repay your payday loan within first due date; otherwise you have to pay more and more because the rate of interest of payday loans is very high. So it will become a headache for you. It's better to avoid payday loan. I think debt consolidation is the easiest way to pay off your debt. So try to consolidate your payday loan. I also did this. Please sign up with this site, so that I can PM you some more information.

Regards
Alex :)

One of the consultants will be calling you up shortly for a free counseling. You can discuss your accounts with him and work out the payment plans. We will appreciate you spending some time with us here and share the experiences. You will gain a lot of knowledge here as most of us are fighting back with similar problems here.

I need information on Magnum Pay day loan - I am paying them $50.00 a pay period - every two weeks - but I only borrowed $500.00 - I paid back $600.00 before I defaulted - now they say I owe another $400.00 but I was thinking before I send in my payment that their interest was crazy high - any suggestions - should I tell them that I feel as though I have paid them more than enough - this way I would have paid $500.00 more on a $500.00 loan

Get an itemized statement of your account before you pay anything further to the company. I am not sure if Magnum is actually posting the money towards your accounts. You need to review the statement thoroughly before paying them. I will like to explain this situation to your bank and place a dispute with Magnum.

The posted the money to my account - but when I renewed with them - they charged extra money - I just wanted to know if the fees were legal and if they were legal in my state which is maryland - I borrowed $500 from the beginning and I had to pay back 800.00 which I should have said no - but now I am thinking that was crazy interest

Go through these links and know the permissible interests and fees in your state. You should dispute with the help of your bank and claim for a refund. Besides, you check the licensing info of Magnum from the licensing authority in your state.
