I recently had an account on my report that originally said it had been charged off changed to say it was included in a past bankruptcy. After checking my report again, I noticed while it does say that it was included in a bankruptcy, it still shows it having been late on payments well past the bankruptcy (even though I paid the minimum right up until filing). Is this something that I might be able to fix with a dispute to the reporting agency? Would it even change my score?

All of these disputes are such a pain! You'd think it would be quite obvious if the bankruptcy was discharged in Sept. of 2003 that any "non-payments" since then are inaccurate. Good grief! I think I'm more fixated by this number (credit score) than I am about my weight... and coming from a girl, that's a big statement!

I hear you! I'm so pissed because an account I settled back in '02, which went in default because my ex was tossing my mail, stills shows up on my CR as in collections. My student loans and my car payments are also holding my score down and that's not fair because my student loans are in deferment until January and my car payments are always on time.
