You can negotiate with your
credit card companies to settle your credit card bills. Also explain
your situation and try to reduce the amount of your medical bills. You
can take professional help if you can't do it on your own. However, you
need an income to do so. So, look for a job. As a last resort, you can
file bankruptcy.
Have a talk with your
creditors and let them intimate your situation, this may lessen your
credit card bills and if you place your condition about job loss, this
may declare your condition as bankrupt and may lead to completely round
off all your debt. For the discussion with your creditors, if you
think, you are not fit, you can also take the services of credit card
counselors, who will discuss the matter with your creditors on your
behalf and whatever be the result, you have to follow it and make the
matter close.
