Will I be blacklisted if I'm unable to make payments on a credit card? Will the future creditors disapprove my credit card request or increase the interest rate?

You won't be blacklisted. That's for sure. But yes, future creditors may increase the interest rate on the credit cards. Thousands of people file bankruptcy every year. Do they get blacklisted? If that was the case, then no one would have been able to qualify for credit cards or loans later. Steve Rhode (the get out of debt guy) filed bankruptcy once. Just see where he is today.

It might happen that you couldn't make the payments for some financial situation. So, after you pay off debt, add positive items in your credit report. It will show to your future creditors that you've managing your credit cards and other loans (if any) efficiently.

If you don't make your credit card bill payments, then after a certain time, you will get creditors or collection call. Yes, you will be offered a higher interest rate next time since your credit score is not good due to the debt.
