There's no harm in explaining your situation and requesting the credit card company to extend the payment due date if possible. But try to avoid such situations in the future.

It won't be a big problem if you can't make full payment once a month. You're making the minimum payment. Right? So there is no need to worry about late payments or fines. Just negotiate with the credit card company regarding the interest rate. Can you pay the full balance next month?
