What is better - Taking professional help or try DIY options first? Are there any chance that debt sceraio will worsen if not able to repay all by myself. I have $10,000 debt to pay off to one creditor.

It will depend on how much you can shell for your debts. If you have enough savings or your financial situation is like that you can pay it all by yourself, you can opt for DIY, else opt for professional help.

Well see, $10,000 is a pretty manageable debt! You can first try to DIY it! Use certain payment methods like described in here "https://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/getoutofdebt.html".

You will definitely find the post interesting, like I did....

YOu can try out debt snowball as proposed by Mr. Dave Ramsey, or can even try the debt avalanche.... These are all types of payment methods used for DIY debt relief. You can get all the information in the provided link!!!! Whatever just give your best, and you can easily come out of this $10,000 debt!
Still if you can't manage to pay it off... then probably you should approach a consolidation or settlement company!

You can also take out a consolidation loan with a lower interest rate to pay off your current debts. Now you just need to manage a single loan. make the monthly payments on time. Don't miss the monthly payments on the new debt. Since you are paying off your debts on your own. you don't need to pay a fee to a third party debt relief company. However, before following debt snowball and avalanche, read a lot to understand the steps involved in the methods.
