If it is an alternative debt repayment plan set up with the credit card company, then they may increase the interest rate if you opt out. Therefore, it is better if you talk to them if you're having an issue.

I agree that you should try and reach them first, they may correct their mistake because filing a complaint will take a lot of time and efforts and you should do it only if nothing else works out
