My wife and I filed 10 years ago from chapter 7, discharged in early 97 so the discharge date will actually be 10 years old in about 6 months.
My question is if my score will go up when the 10 year from discharge date is hit, doesn't that mean that it will no longer show at all on my credit reports?
Also, what is considered a good score now?

Experian deletes Chapter 7 bankruptcies after ten years from the bankruptcy filing date. Chapter 13 bankruptcies are deleted after seven years from the filing date. Subsection 1681c Requirements Relating to Information Contained in Consumer Reports (Section 605) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act specifies deletion dates for information included in a credit report

What is your present credit score? You can actually rebuild your credit after two years from the date of bankruptcy filed. Good payment history plays an important role in improving the credit.
