I have disputed some bad credit issues on my credit report that have been dropped. Now out of the woodwork comes a "Summons" from a collection agency attempting to take me to court over a debt that has been removed from my credit file, is this legal and what should I do?

You need to verify with the collection agency if they have your debt for which the summons is served. You must go to your local county that has issued the papers and verify the case. If you figure out that the debt collector has done everything in the fair way, there are chances the debt will be reported back in your credit copy. In that case, you have to pay and get the case withdrawn from the court.
