If I never pay off my negative marks and they expire, what happens, do negative marks go away or do they continue to effect credit score?

Like Deb said, it takes 7 to 10 for the negatives to be off from the credit report. Once they are removed, they cannot be reported back into your credit unless you make a payment on that account. Items once removed from the credit file will make no effect on your credit scores.
